Inside the smart workshop of Hebei Xilide Hardware Manufacturing Co., Ltd., 300 cold heading machines operate automatically. According to the company’s executive, the automation, intelligence, and digital upgrades of eight production lines have significantly improved product quality and efficiency. The company’s self-drilling screws not only hold 40% of the domestic market share but are also exported to over 10 countries. This is just a snapshot of Yongnian’s industrial transformation. By establishing a national-level public service platform, Yongnian has collaborated with universities to overcome 30 key technologies, including co-penetration and titanium-chromium nitride coating, helping companies secure 154 new patents and participate in national standard revisions for the first time. Currently, mid-to-high-end products account for 80% of Yongnian’s fastener output, with average profits doubling and reaching up to 1,000 yuan per ton, laying a solid foundation for international expansion.

While making breakthroughs in innovation, Yongnian companies are actively "going global together." *"Our products are already sold in multiple overseas markets, including the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia, with foreign trade sales surging 40% year-on-year in the first half of this year,"* said Ji Xuefei, General Manager of Hebei Tuofa Communication & Electric Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This success is supported by the Yongnian Import and Export Association, the first of its kind in the city. Since its establishment in 2021, the association has built a full-chain service system, assisting companies with export certifications, international standards compliance, and overseas trademark registration, while also organizing participation in domestic and international trade fairs. To date, the association has facilitated over 20 domestic and 30 international exhibitions, creating vast opportunities for local businesses to connect with the world.

Against the backdrop of rising global infrastructure demand, Yongnian is seizing opportunities to accelerate its international presence. In October 2024, the China Yongnian Fastener International Procurement Conference attracted buyers from 26 countries, securing 32.26 million yuan in signed orders and 190 million yuan in intended deals. In 2025 alone, Yongnian has organized companies to participate in three key exhibitions, including the Stuttgart Fastener Fair in Germany, with 61 companies securing 96 orders worth 36.55 million yuan, demonstrating strong global competitiveness.

From traditional manufacturing to smart production, and from domestic dominance to global outreach, Yongnian’s fastener industry is writing a compelling story of China’s manufacturing transformation. As technological innovation continues to drive progress and international strategies deepen, these small screws are not just fastening global supply chains—they are tightening the world’s confidence in "Made in China."
